Weekend Roundup
Justin “Kukyona” O’Dell is handing out a basic 3D terrain engine for XNA. There are no bells and whistles, like LOD, but that’s good if you are learning.
Michael “Zygote” Morton had dropped another very nice tutorial over at ziggyware.com. This time he is generating fonts for XNA.
Daniel Crenna has just started covering the basics of 3D math for XNA, which is nice, because I won’t get to that in a long time (I commented on that at the bottom).
Gregory Wurm keeps giving me praise for my XNA tutorials, mirrors them, and gives me general tips on codecs and such. One of the best admins out there! Go and support his site about learning XNA!
Stefan Virag keeps working on sound, which is good. He has collected all posts about sound for XNA in a single post, which is even better. I’ve got to do that for my tutorials as well.
The XNA Team at Microsoft are filling in the blanks in the documentation. This time, they clear up the issue of loading resources in XNA.
Bradley Jackson is a new XNA player. Welcome! He has released an XNA breakout game tutorial with source code.
